MG HOBBY polycarbonate greenhouse 2.1x6 m

MG HOBBY is a practical greenhouse with a classic pitched roof and straight side walls. This shape makes efficient use of space along the edges and provides a comfortable growing area for tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, herbs, seedlings and flowers. The area is 12.6 m2, length 600 cm, overall height 195 cm and wall height 153 cm.

Durable galvanised steel construction

The frame is made from ∎ 40x20 & 20x20 steel profiles with galvanization protection. Structural sections are spaced at 67 cm, while steel ridge and corner elements add rigidity. Connectors and screws for assembling the frame are included, together with 4.8 × 19 mm screws and EPDM washers for securing the polycarbonate.

Polycarbonate and effective ventilation

The set includes 4 mm twin-wall polycarbonate, supplied as 4 pcs / 6 m sheets. The panels must be cut to size during installation according to the instructions. 2 pcs doors and 2 pcs ventilation windows are positioned at the front and rear for convenient access and effective cross-ventilation. Each door measures 0.74 × 1.73 m and each ventilation window 0.40 × 0.69 m.

What is included?

The set contains the galvanised structure, T-shaped ground anchors, frame connectors and screws, selected polycarbonate, ridge and corner elements, door and window handles and latches, plus assembly instructions. An additional galvanised U-profile base frame is not included and is sold separately.

Preparing for installation

Before choosing the length, mark the greenhouse outline in the garden and check access routes, door clearance and water supply. Plan the beds and path in advance so the growing layout does not need to be changed after assembly. Install the greenhouse on level ground and anchor it securely, taking local soil and wind conditions into account.
